Fan Report: Blues 0-3 Arsenal

Blues fans at this encounter were steaming at half time as they were justifiably thinking the inadequacies of the referee was the reason that they were behind. In the second half however the visitors demonstrated a level of play that Blues can only dream of at the moment.
Rodger Johnson had his worst game for Blues and was handicapped by a ludicrous caution when winning a good old 50-50 tackle with Fabregas. The Catalonian disgraced his region by behaving like a spanked girl guide and rolled about in apparent agony. This is the type of behaviour that Arsenal is now synonymous. If only they would play the game like men they would receive the credit for their otherwise superb play.
Blues had started well and the game had a good tempo with an ebb and flow that was entertaining and exciting. The obnoxious Van Persie made a dive which would have been envied by Greg Lugarno as Scott Dann brushed against him. It was an embarrassing decision for Mr Walton to be so conned just as he had been at Anfield last season. The perpetrator of this foul deed stood up and his shot went through Blues badly formed wall and deflected past Foster.
Blues should have been awarded a penalty when the Dutch miscreant Van Persie clearly handled a cross in the area. Mr Walton weren’t having any and Blues were frustrated.
A superb flick on from Jerome fell nicely into the path of Roger Johnson whose volley lobbed over the ball when he really should have scored.
The second half was just a cake walk for Arsenal and but for the heroics of Ben Foster they would have ended up with six or seven.
The second goal had a modicum of good fortune when Carr neatly intercepted a though ball only for the ball to fall straight into the path of Fabregas who set up Nasri. Nasri had oceans of room but his shot from the edge of the box fizzed past Foster’s right hand. It was an impressive strike indeed
With no subs yet in sight Blues saw the contest ended when Nasri’s shot from a tight angle on the right being well saved by Foster. The Blues keeper saw the ball pass him as the ball rebounded from the legs of Dann to the shins of Johnson whose night was complete with an own goal.
Blues had nothing to offer after that and find themselves one off the bottom. Tuesday’s game at Blackpool is now of mega importance as failure there could see us bottom. We then have a cup break before the Dark Side return to St Andrews. Changes are needed. 4-4-2 must be restored and new players need to come in. The signings that so excited us pre season have not started yet. A formation that includes Hleb and Gardner has to be found. Zigic needs to be utilised to a maximum even if we go ‘direct’ .

Straight red for Johnson, your managers dirty tactics are there for everyone to see, disgusting….
And the stamping on Arsenal-players in the second half was nothing but a disgrace.
Terrible, hope you go DOWN!

You, sir, are the worst kind of deluded idiot.
going down brumbutthole. going down. chin up. lets see how many 'brummers' actually come on to this site and post in reply to this. cunts.
wow. r u blind? ok u should prob had a penalty, but we still would have smacked u around, and it makes up for that free goal u got against utd. rvp did not dive, clearly a foul. an the fab vs johnson… r u that blue eyed????? direct red ofcourse, i think u brums had a descent 1, but in the second you where outplayed and yor only response was to kick us out of the game
RvP didn't dive, and neither did Fabregas…
All the "dirt" in this game came from Birmingham, both Roger Johnson and Ridgewell should have been given a red card, with their "Wannabe-British-hero-but-actually-just-looks-like-a-cuople-of-neanderthals-trying-to-invent-tackling-all-over-again" style of playing". After a game like that Brimingham deserves to go down.
From an arsenal fans perspective, you would roll around on the floor in agony if some one bigger than you went metal studs up into your shin. In fact jack wilshere did the exact same thing against zigic, exactly the same postion, challenge and jump but got straight red you must be an idiot when the whole of the footballing world says fabregas is lucky not to be seriously injured while you sit there writing " he faked it" N
If your going to blog, then please blog right. Your NOT a professional footballers someone tell memif you can tell if someone is seriously injured by the look of their face.
And arsenal a disgrace?! Look at Lee bowyers stamp on sagna. Is that how "real men"'play. You have some fucked up hypocrital view, city is going down
Watch the game again Pal. Johnson should have had a straight red for hos over the top tackle (50-50 my arse) and Bowyer should have received a straight red for his deliberate stamp on Sagna!!
Toddle off now and get on with your battle against relegation!!!
i can understand your frustration but the comment about fabregas was just mental. it was a bad tackle.
i dont know why birmingham fans are so upset about the ref. bowyer and johnson were lucky not to see red
Birmingham was shit. Look at arsenalist.com to see the disgusting tackles and stamping.
Youre joking arent you?
the johnson tackle on fabregas was similar to the leg-breaking tackles on eduardo and ramsey. the brummies are pub-brawlers and rugby tacklers, look at Lee Bowyer's disgusting behaviour stamping on Sagna not once but twice.
What a load of bollocks! Is this the only way to invoke support for the mentally "crippled" methods and tactics of your manager that ended Edu's career in England? Disgusting – your bunch of tree cutters went all over the pitch kicking the opposition! Boywer – no need to comment on that "ol school' tackler – the sooner he is out the game, the better. I really feel sympathy for Hleb who is obviously in a cultural shock – from playing on the ground with finesse to having a stiff neck watching the ball hoofed up and down the pitch.
Are you for real mate! Cunts to a man, each and every one of you that support that type of game. I don't get how you can be proud or entertained watching guys kicking and stamping each other, but hey I like football. Can't wait for you lot to take your special brand of football back to the championship, not that it has a place there, but its far away as possible from proper football teams.
first i thought what the heck…dont bother…still if this was your true view on the game and what happened…well then you need to seek help,,,or are you writing from a mental hospitality already ?
one word describes it perfectly…disgraceful…
birmingham have very little to offer…and admit it..larsson is your best player by a mile..and he is a former ?
get rid of that joke of a manager you have….he was a piss poor player but he is even worse as a manager..
nw just go down and stay down…you look like a very poor rugby team…and how anyone are willing to pay hard earned money to go and watch this sh't is unbelivable…
rotten players ..rotten manager…
Im a blue nose and i know alot of fellow blue noses will hate me for this, but i have to agree with half these gunner fans that we are going down and in truth our football is a disgrace and without doubt the worst football to watch in the top two divisions atleast, i can't think of a team from the championship less attractive than us and that's probably true for even lower divisions. One shot against wolves said it all. Time for changes at st andrews, managerial and players changes! Sorry fellow blue noses but i think we have had 5 shots on goal in the last 3 games and that is not good enough were going down.
can I add that Roger Johnson is an inbred, talentless reject from Planet of the Apes, and is a prize cu*t to boot. I support Villa, by the way.
